Why I Love Gardening

To me, there’s something magical about being in my garden.  No matter how stressful my life is, puttering around my garden seems to heal my soul.  When growing season rolls around, I will make time for my garden every single day without fail.  It just feels like something that I need.  And maybe I do need it.  Mentally, spiritually, and physically.  Ah, I can’t wait to get into my garden again.

We’ve had an incredibly mild winter here so far, and I’m hoping that spring will come early.  Right now I’ve got the winter blues, and could use the pick-me-up.  I’ll have to appease myself with some preemptive seed shopping.  🙂

  1. Hi Joycelyn,
I couldn’t agree more! Yes ther’e is work (exercise) involved in gardening but the rewards are priceless.

  2. I love gardening, because it makes my home a lot more beautiful. I also love growing vegetables, because they are delicious, and a lot more flavorful than any that you could buy at the store. I wholeheartedly agree with you. I think that when you garden, you can relieve stress. You can also put your time into something that is productive. Not everything we do in life is productive, but gardening definitely is.
