Sometimes when you live in Northern Minnesota it feels as if summer will never get here. It has been quite cool (about 50 degrees) and very windy all week. I was watering more of my seedlings this morning, when I saw these little guys and decided that I needed to get out my camera. Both of these are California Poppies. They just sprouted the other day, and have been growing pretty quickly. I love the water drops on them!
Mystery Seedlings
I have discovered some seedlings in one of my pots, and I have no idea how they got there. I got the pot from home, because it had some of my Calla Lily bulbs in it from last summer. Plant Weekend
This weekend was finally warm (over 50 degrees), but rainy. The boyfriend was out of town, and I had all day Saturday to myself. So I took the opportunity to jump in and get my hands dirty!
